The Butterfly Maiden comes from the Hopi people, a Native American people from the American Southwest, especially Arizona. She is associated with transformation, renewal, beauty and the changing seasons. I only recently discovered her and have been fascinated ever since. There is something so beautiful about her symbolism and the idea of becoming through change.
