Forgives for avoiding pain.

Forgiveness for quieting my intuitive knowing.

For allowing my fears to turn into shadows that I sought comfort from because it was familiar.

For not letting go of my grip on this life and trying to maintain an illusion of control.

For needing a sense of safety outside myself.

For shrinking from hard truths. 

And for the likelihood I may do it again.
