Every once in a while in the midst of the painting, layer after layers she emerges. The Queen - perhaps my subconscious reminding me that when it comes to my future, wants and desires- there is a power I can rely on. I can count on her to step in and take the reigns, focus on the next step, fearlessly and determined. The Queen- oh how I love when she emerges. It’s always when I need her the most.
